In general, any integrated systems project is handled in stages:

1: System definition: a review of the customer's requirements and/or specifications. This is the basis for selection of products, and the necessary field equipment best suited to the application.

2: System planning: starts with a shop drawing package prepared to indicate wiring and installation details, cut sheets, device locations, door details, wire coding and component layout, scope of work, maintenance information, operation manuals and verification sheets.

3: System implementation: designation of a Project Manager that would be responsible for overseeing performance on a daily basis, ensuring that prompt scheduling, quality and performance standards are strictly adhered to.

4: Handover: Site walk through and training is provided to the client for various levels responsibility including; guards, data entry, system management and maintenance staff. A warranty and service response commitment is submitted for ongoing support.

5: Quality assurance: Smart-tek has made a corporate commitment to quality control. Smart-tek 's quality control data system provides the company with a template, followed by technical and service personnel whom report directly to a project manager and onto corporate staff. This structure allows for communication, analysis and execution of all levels of work performed by Smart-tek's staff.
